CloudTask

Marketplace to hire outsourced SDR and customer success teams

What it does

CloudTask is not software. It is a marketplace and managed-service layer for outsourced sales teams: SDRs, BDRs, customer success reps, and support agents. B2B SMBs and mid-market companies use it to hire vetted remote sales talent (mostly from Colombia, Miami, the Philippines, and London) without building the recruiting, training, and management stack themselves. Two products: "Boost" (browse and hire individual talent) and "Grow" (fully managed outsourced teams with a Qualified Meeting Guarantee).

Key features

Vetted SDR TeamsCustomer Success TeamsManaged OutreachCampaign Reporting

Integrates with

Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Slack

Who this fits

  • B2B SaaS companies at $2M+ ARR needing outbound but not ready to hire, train, and manage US-based SDRs
  • Mid-market companies expanding into new segments or geos
  • Companies with a proven ICP and clean data who need volume, not strategy
  • Founders who tried in-house SDRs and burned out on the churn

Who it does NOT fit

  • Solo founders and pre-revenue startups (minimum spend is significant)
  • Companies without a defined ICP or offer (outsourced reps cannot fix a broken funnel)
  • Highly regulated industries needing FINRA or HIPAA-trained reps
  • Trades, real estate, medspa (this is a B2B tool)
  • Anyone expecting to save money vs. a US-based SDR at $85K OTE (you will, but not by much once the retainer is real)

Pricing

CloudTask Boost starts at $1,500 per month for individual talent. Managed campaigns (Grow) run $10,000 per month (Launch) to $40,000 per month (Scale). There is also a 15% platform fee on marketplace talent payments. Enterprise custom quotes above that. This is a five-figure-per-month commitment, not a self-serve SaaS tool.

Real gotchas

  • Non-obvious gotcha: the Qualified Meeting Guarantee sounds like a warranty but the qualification criteria are agreed upfront and CloudTask writes them broadly enough that most meetings count. Pin down the exact qualification definition (title level, budget-confirmed, timeline, pain named) in writing before signing, or you will get meetings that technically qualify but do not convert.
  • The talent is remote; time zone alignment for US East Coast prospects is a real factor
  • Turnover on the CloudTask side happens; the person who started your campaign may not be the person running it in month three
  • "Marketplace" pricing suggests self-serve; the reality is CloudTask account managers heavily guide the selection
  • Tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, dialer, etc.) are on you, not bundled

Integrations that matter

Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack. CloudTask does not integrate with your systems directly; the reps use whatever you give them access to.

Otto’s take on this tool

Recommend CloudTask when: business_size is 20 to 500, industry is B2B SaaS or professional services, budget for outbound is $10K+ per month, and pain_points include SDR hiring difficulty or geographic expansion. Do NOT recommend for solo founders, pre-revenue startups, non-B2B verticals, or budgets under $5K per month. If comparing to hiring in-house, CloudTask wins on time-to-productive; in-house wins on long-term cost per meeting once you get past 12 months.

Editor's curated reviews

21 reviews across TrustPilot - avg 4.6/5

Curated by Otto from TrustPilot public reviews (fetched 2026-08-31). 21 reviews at a 4.6 headline with 100% 5-star and zero critical reviews - this is the signature of either an actively-solicited review push or a genuinely thin sample from happy clients only. Sitting just above the 15-review coverage floor, treat the aggregate as directional, not authoritative. The reviews come from B2B founders and hiring managers using CloudTask to recruit sales, marketing, and support talent from LATAM. Reviewers consistently name specific team members (Amir most often) and credit talent-vetting quality plus fast turnaround. No public critical signal to balance the picture on TrustPilot; a buyer evaluating CloudTask should weight independent peer-network references and check the specific talent-vetting SLA against a written scope of work before committing to a placement fee. G2 and Capterra were consulted for aggregate context but not directly cited here (source-access limits). Not user-submitted on Ottomately.
