Nimble

Social CRM for relationship-focused professionals

What it does

Nimble is a relationship-first CRM built around a contact record that auto-enriches from social profiles, email history, and a browser sidebar (the "Prospector") that pulls a person's info from LinkedIn, Twitter, and any web page you're on. Instead of a pipeline-first CRM, it's a "who do I know and when did I last talk to them" CRM. Add group emails, task and deal tracking, and a workflow builder. The signature move: hover on any web contact, get their full record, log the touch, and move on. Good for relationship-driven businesses that don't need a heavy sales pipeline but do need to remember every conversation.

Integrates with

Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn, Twitter, Zapier

Who this fits

  • Solo consultants, coaches, and advisors whose business runs on relationships
  • Small B2B teams doing partnership and BD (not high-volume outbound)
  • Small agencies managing a book of past clients + prospects
  • Sales operators who live in LinkedIn and Gmail and want a contact layer on top
  • Real estate agents (small teams) tracking past clients and referral sources

Who it does NOT fit

  • High-volume outbound sales teams (Close, Outreach)
  • Marketing-led inbound funnels (HubSpot)
  • Enterprise sales orgs (Salesforce)
  • Ecommerce (wrong data model)
  • Anyone whose team lives in a pipeline board (Pipedrive is more visual)

Pricing

- Nimble Business: ~$29.90/user/mo billed monthly, ~$24.90/user/mo billed annually - Includes contact management, activity tracking, pipeline, group messaging, workflow automation, Prospector (25 credits/user/mo) - Additional data credits sold separately Single-tier pricing is refreshingly simple. Watch the Prospector credit meter if you rely on enrichment.

Real gotchas

  • Only one paid tier. If you outgrow it, you outgrow Nimble
  • Prospector credits are gated (25/user/mo included). Heavy enrichment users need add-on packs
  • Reporting is basic. Don't expect Salesforce-caliber dashboards
  • Deals/pipeline is functional but not the tool's strength
  • No dialer. Not a call-heavy tool
  • Integrations depth varies. Zapier fills gaps

Integrations that matter

Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn (browser sidebar), Twitter/X, HubSpot, Mailchimp, QuickBooks, Xero, Zapier, Make, Slack, WordPress, Freshdesk, Wufoo, DocuSign, PandaDoc.

Otto’s take on this tool

Recommend Nimble when: user is a solo operator or small team; business is relationship-driven (consulting, advisory, partnerships, real estate referral network); the pain_point is "I forget who I've talked to and when" or "I need one place my contacts live across email + LinkedIn"; and the volume isn't high enough to warrant a dedicated sales stack. Pairs with Gmail/Outlook, LinkedIn, and Calendly. Do NOT recommend for pipeline-heavy sales teams (Pipedrive), inbound marketing funnels (HubSpot), outbound dialer motions (Close), or teams that need advanced reporting.
